Jamel Tounsi

Our instructor and diving director

Jamel began his diving career as a coral diver in Bizerte, in the north of Tunisia (Connoisseurs will appreciate...)
He then devoted himself to extreme freediving (beyond 40 meters...) and reconverted in sport diving.
3-star national instructor in Tunisia (MN3) since 1990, Jamel has more than 20,000 dives to his credit.
Incidentally, Jamel TOUNSI holds the marine environment instructor diploma (diploma awarded by the Tunisian Ministry of the Environment).
He is also a lecturer-trainer at the Higher Institute of Marine Bio-Technologies in Monastir.
During the winter, he is occasionally called upon for industrial dives ( Maintenance of submerged equipment, etc.)

Karim TOUNSI

Equipment and logistics manager

Karim is responsible for maintaining the equipment and the boat. He has a strong sense of service. On the boat and in the center, he makes sure that no one lacks anything. He is also very vigilant about the safety of divers. We love him!

The boat : fast, reliable, made for the comfort of divers.

9 meters, 265 HP. To quickly take you to your favorite dive sites. The diving boat is of course equipped with all the safety equipment: VHF radio, depth sounder, emergency oxygen bottle, first aid kit.

Equipment: Recent and maintained.

In terms of diving equipment, we have 20 complete pieces of equipment per size.
This equipment is of course regularly checked and maintained, in accordance with current international standards.
 
Tanks: Annual visual inspection and retests every 5 years
Regulators: Complete overhaul every year, continuous monitoring, change of seals and hoses every year or as soon as necessary. 
Stab jackets : Annual review and continuous monitoring.
 
All equipment is renewed regularly.
