Little rock

Groupers Hole

Pigeon Island drop off

We will descend slowly along these rock walls which constitute a very representative sampling of underwater life in the Mediterranean . Arrival at 14-15 meters on a sandy bottom, slow swimming along the drop-off, open big your eyes!

The groupers and swimmers blend into the landscape, incredible in their mimicry but so beautiful when they sleep on the bottom. Dozens of mullets search the sand and a few almost invisible soles will appear to the most observant. A big turn to the right to follow the drop-off and arrive at a large anchor placed upright (It’s the hiding place of our friend the big black grouper so shush….. Keep it secret…). Change direction and join the rope, an old almost vertical rope which appears at the bend of a sandy plain filled with mullet. When it's in season, it is filled with long white strings: squid eggs.

The ascent is done quietly and you don't even realize the safety stop, which is part of the walk.

Depending on the experience of the divers, this dive lasts between 45 minutes and an hour.

Little rock

After about 30 minutes on the boat, we will anchor at sea, about 1 mile from the coast.
Briefing and forming pairs, then rope descent and visit to the Petite Pierre site, so named because it is of rocky masses in the middle of a sea of Posidonia

Sponges, spirographs and anemones color the site and the fish jostle around. In the distance, we can see large dents, quite difficult to approach, crows, and around a rock, well hidden in their holes, conger eels and moray eels. It’s quite amusing to see two heads come out of the hole and realize that they are not a pair of moray eels but a moray eel and a conger eel living together peacefully.

Return to the rope and climb back up, safety stop at the rope at 3 meters, then slowly climb diagonally back to the boat, running behind your back of course. The dive lasts from 40 minutes to 45 minutes to stay within the safety curve, don't forget to inform us if you have done another dive less than 12 hours before, so that we can adapt.

Once you reach the surface, you have the choice between getting back on the boat equipped or unequipped in the water, which is much more comfortable. Our surface staff will take care of reassembling your equipment and dismantling it. As on all our dives, do not hesitate to take advantage of our impeccable customer service, no carrying, you let our staff assemble your equipment or you do it yourself if you prefer, but our staff will check in all cases.

At Monastir's Marina diving club, we have 3 golden rules: Your safety, your comfort and finally your satisfaction.

Our dearest wish: To see you come back diving with us!
